Merlin is like lightning, thinks Arthur looking at the other man's face lit by the storm. He is loud, appears everywhere suddenly and without warning, and he has magic. Yes, Arthur always thought that storms had something magical in them. Not the scary magic that shows up in Camelot sometimes, but a smooth, delicate and mysterious magic. Like Merlin... mysterious... beautiful.


"Arthur... can I stay here with you, tonight?" 


Arthur looked at Merlin's eyes; they're gold for a second - lightning. "Why?"


Merlin blushes, his eyes were blue again. "I don't... like thunderstorms very much."


The Prince could only smile. Beautiful.
