Did you read what Jensen said about this at the last Con? How he had things glued to his face to make him look beaten like that...and then when he had to crawl over to where Sam had fallen in, he got so emotional that he really REALLY started crying...and the glue melted and ran into his eyes? I was like AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

But I so agree with you, this episode was so SO perfect (Even though I hate Lisa...)

Well...2 Cons ago Jared was quoted as saying "With Lucifer back in hell...." but he also said he wasn't sure, he was just assuming. So I think that it's really Sam, but that's just me.
